animate! Extending the Image across the UK

February – March 2006

A special programme of recent commissions from the animate! project, venturing into fresh narrative territories and visual forms way beyond the frame-by-frame confines of conventional animation.

In each of the ten films in Extending the Image : animate! 02–05 the artist breaks the rules and the exhilaration is compelling:
